Privacy Policy — AEO APP
How AEO APP handles the data you provide when you run an audit.

What AEO APP does. AEO APP is a Model Context Protocol connector that analyses the on-page Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) signals of a web page you specify, optionally compares it against competitor pages you supply, and returns a report.
What we collect. When you run the tool we receive the page URL and optional keyword you submit, the competitor URLs you supply, and — because the connector is authenticated — an account identifier from your GitHub sign-in. We fetch the public content of the URLs you submit (and their robots.txt, llms.txt and entitymap.json, if present) in order to analyse them.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for or store your Claude conversation, documents, contacts, or any personal data beyond what is needed to run an audit and the sign-in identifier.
How it is used and stored.
- Generated reports. When you produce a shareable report, the rendered report is stored so its link keeps working, for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted. The link is an unguessable random address.
- We only use the URL, keyword and competitor list you provide to run the audit. We do not store your Claude session content.
Link verification. When AEO APP generates an EntityMap, it checks the Wikidata/Wikipedia links by requesting those public pages to confirm they resolve. No personal data is sent.
Third parties. The service runs on Cloudflare (hosting and headless page rendering) and uses GitHub for sign-in (OAuth 2.0). We do not sell your data or share it with any other third party.
Data retention. Generated reports are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted. The sign-in identifier is retained while the connector is connected and is removed when you disconnect it.
Security. Access is authenticated via OAuth 2.0 (GitHub). All traffic is served over HTTPS.
Your choices. You can disconnect the connector at any time from Claude → Settings → Connectors, which revokes its access.
